Striking the right balance

The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page.” – St. Augustine.

Having lived in an urban area all my life, I've come to treasure the beauty of vintage and rustic places. While some people rather shop in shopping centres while overseas, I, for one, prefer the old streets. It's rare that a place can strike a good balance between both, which explains why I am so in love with this city. And the experience was made perfect when you have local friends who bring you around.

I hope that this set of photos will evoke in you a sense of reminiscent as well.

Thank you for reading.

Life of a (budding) entrepreneur

Road to being a entrepreneur is not easy and I can only truly and fully appreciate this at this moment. While I am only a 1-week business-just-launch-budding-entrepreneur,  all the uncertainty has start to overwhelm my life, occupying whatever space is left in my little brain.

I just wish to fast-track this moment, and be in touch with my future.

Certainty, where are you?

Top of the World, Swissotel

Do you have something you worked so hard for, felt so proud of, as if you are on the top of the world in that mini realm of yours; yet at the very next moment, you came crumbling down because of a comment made by someone? Someone who is important to you, but is not able to see things in your perspective and came out with comments that seem so effortlessly hurtful.

Life, isn't that easy after all. Learn to take things in your stride and believe in yourself. Never let someone put you down. For one day, you will emerge stronger, and the scars from the battles will be your little trophies to keep.

View from Swissotel Suite, 65th level during Earth Hour
A colleague of mine booked a room from Swissotel recently. Lucky her got a free upgrade to a suite and this was how we got a magnificent view of Singapore during Earth hour from the tallest hotel in Singapore. The view was simply breathtaking, and cars instantly transformed into mini lego toys. This is must-have experience once in a life time. Thanks Su Li! (:

Live Life.

Took some time to re-setup the blog. All the time trying to make sure the visuals are aesthetically-pleasing, the photos are aligned in a precise angle - argh, the usual perfectionist within me acting up.

Now that this little space of mine is done. Hopefully it provides a mini escapade for me to document snippets of my trying-to-sound-interesting-but-still-boring life.

A relatively short post, but would like to end off with this quote by Hilary Cooper,
